Dr. Burjonroppa currently serves as an assistant professor in the TCU School of Medicine in Fort Worth and as physician co-lead of the Heart and Valve program at Texas Health Fort Worth. He also is the principal investigator for the randomized double-blind trial EXPAND TAVR for treating patients with symptomatic moderate aortic stenosis early in their clinical course versus medical management. He is the recipient of the Young Investigator award from the American College of Cardiology for his work on Rescue PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention) going back to 2011.Dr. Burjonroppa earned his medical degree in Bangalore, India.
